The Quest Aquatics swim team from Fit-N-Wise in Decatur had an impressive showing at the North Texas Division II Short Course Yards B/C Invitational at Irving November 2-4.
In the 11-12 age group Trey Berry took third in the 50 fly in 38.41. He placed sixth in the 200 freestyle in 2:48 and seventh in the 100 freestyle in 1:16. All times were personal bests.
Noah Holt competed in the seven and under division taking first in the 25 breast stroke in 32 flat. He was second in the 25 backstroke in 26.21 and third in the 25 fly in 30.53. Holt also took fourth in the 25 freestyle in 24.51.
In the eight and under female division Jentry Lamirand finished eighth in 25 breast stroke in 32.09, 12th in 25 backstroke in 26.19 and 15th in the 25 freestyle in 28.44.
Jennifer Morehart picked up seventh place finishes in the 50 freestyle in 32.24 and swam 3:34 in the 200 breast stroke. She also placed 11th in the 100 backstroke in 1:32. Those were all personal best times as she competed in the 11-12 female division.
In his first meet Zach Levesque, participating in the 10 and under division, took first in the 50 free in 35.98. He placed fourth in the 50 backstroke in 47.93, sixth in the 100 freestyle in 1:29 and 11th in the 50 fly in 1:00.
Also in the 10 and under division, John Muths took fifth in the 50 fly in 1:25 and Stephen Scoggins finished fourth in 1:07.
Scoggins also picked up seventh in the 50 backstroke in 51.78 and sixth in the 50 breaststroke in 55.86.
In the seven and under female division Madison Whitley finished sixth in the 25 breaststroke in 40.85, ninth in the 25 backstroke in 27.96 and 14th in the 25 freestyle in 28.61.
Jessie Wright had two 11th place finished in the 8 & under female division. She swam a 26.06 in the 25 backstroke and a 35.95 in the 25 breaststroke. Both times were personal bests.
The team cut a total time of 40.31.
