Less than a minute later at 9:47, Tanner Valentine ran 75 yards to score for the Panthers, but the attempt for the extra point failed. Whitesboro’s Ransom Stoddard returned the ensuing kickoff for a 75-yard touchdown, and A. Kilcrease kicked the extra point.

With 9:14 left to play, Valentine connected with Jarrett Holt for a 78-yard play and the Panthers’ final touchdown of the night. They got the two-point conversion with a Valentine/Story pass.

The Bearcats had the last word when Stoddard scored on a run from 36 yards out. A. Kilcrease kicked the extra point.

No one found the end zone in the fourth quarter.

Whitesboro also suffered more penalty yards, with 95, while Paradise lost 20 on yellow flags.

But Whitesboro managed to bring it home over the long haul. The Kilcrease duo led the way – Collin rushed for 168 yards with 12 carries and completed one pass for 22 while Atticus kicked 6 of 7 extra points.

For Paradise, Valentine had 8 carries for 77 yards, while Holt led receivers with his 78-yard play. They managed to convert only one extra point attempt.
