SISSIES PESTER PEASTER WITH WIN
The Bridgeport Sissies picked up a big 46-38 win over Peaster Tuesday. Bridgeport (4-6) used a big second quarter, where they outscored the Lady Hounds 13-5, to take control.
“We got a hard-fought win over a good Peaster team,” Bridgeport coach Dallas Taylor said. “We won the battle of the board and played critical defense down the stretch.”
Landrie Walsh and Bailey Thompson each scored 15 to lead the Sissies. Sabrina Garza finished with nine and Elaina Peyton tossed in four.
LADY BULLDOGS ROLL OVER SPRINGTOWN
After trailing by one at the end of the first quarter, the No. 11 Alvord Lady Bulldogs outscored Springtown 26-4 in the second quarter. Alvord (7-4) cruised the rest of the way, notching an 81-57 victory.
Katie Claborn led the way with 17 points, and Carley King had 15. Ariel Rogers finished with 14, and Lauren Hart added 12. Marissa Schedcik scored nine, and Sam Hahn poured in six.
SANTO DOWNS SLIDELL
The Santo Lady Cats took care of Slidell Tuesday, 67-32. Slidell only trailed by 10 at the half but got outscored 25-3 in the third quarter.
“They [Santo] are a good, quick team,” Slidell coach Cody Vanover said. “We kind of fought our way back in the second quarter, but they crushed us in the third.”
Kylie Franklin led the way for the Lady Hounds with 10, and Ashton Stroope had eight. Caitlin Pruett finished with six, and Marisol Millan added five.
PRAIRIE VALLEY DOWNS CHICO
Prairie Valley stomped the Lady Dragons Tuesday, 61-18.
Charlye Ann Biggerstaff had five points and six rebounds. Corey Tate added five. Alli York tossed in four. Cheyanne Hale put up four and pulled down 11 rebounds.

Paradise edged Lake Worth 55-47 Tuesday to move to 3-5.
Keaton Hickman led the way for the Panthers with 15, and Jarrett Holt added 12. Cody Carmichael poured in 11.
EAGLES TAKE DOWN MINERAL WELLS
The Decatur Eagles pulled out a 69-52 win over Mineral Wells Tuesday. After trailing by five at the end of the first quarter, Decatur (4-5) scored 44 points in the second and third quarters to pull away.
Austin Givens led the way with 18 points, and Cameron Mize tossed in 15. Cain Lowe added 11. Taylor Clayton and Parker Slate each finished with 10.
BULLS TAKE CARE OF SPRINGTOWN
Bridgeport took down the Springtown Porcupines Tuesday, 51-40. The Bulls (4-4) used great defense to pull out the victory.
“We did a good job of jumping out to an early eight point lead and extending it in the third,” Bridgeport coach Brian Miller said. “We did not do a good job of finishing them in the latter part of the game.”
Derrick Stanford led the way with 16, and Reese Read finished with 13. Blake Arrington added 10. Alex Samples throw in six. Dalton Hudson, Gentry Funk and Stephen Howdeshell each scored two.
CHICO BLAZES PRAIRIE VALLEY
The Chico Dragons easily got past Prairie Valley Tuesday, 71-36. The Dragons (6-5) were led by Hunter Clarke with 23 and Dalton Tullos with 17. Hunter York added 11.
