STORMI LEONARD
Decatur, sophomore

The District 9-3A Setter of the Year dominated the area in assists with 1,127 and was second on the team in digs with 268. Leonard also finished with 59 aces and 61 kills. She was a vital part in making school history with the Lady Eagles advancing all the way to the Class 3A Region II final.

OFFENSIVE MVP

COOPER MARTIN
Decatur, sophomore

The District 9-3A MVP led the Lady Eagles with 393 kills. Martin also recorded 116 blocks and 55 aces. After garnering Wise County honorable mention honors as freshman, she busted on the scene as a sophomore. Behind Martin Decatur advanced all the way to the Class 3A Region I final for the first time in school history.

DEFENSIVE MVP

BROOKE BERRYHILL
Northwest, senior

The first-team 4-5A selection added to her school record of digs as she notched 552 more in 2012 and now also holds the school record in service aces. She also led her team in kills with 321. Berryhill recently signed a letter of intent with Tulsa University.

SETTER OF THE YEAR

MAKENNA BURT
Paradise, junior

The Setter of the Year in District 9-2A picks up the same honor on our All-Wise Team. Burt finished the season with 386 assists, 319 kills and 46 blocks. She also helped the Lady Panthers advance to the bi-district round of the state playoffs.

BLOCKER OF THE YEAR

MARIAH CLAYTON
Bridgeport, senior

The 9-3A first-team selection was hard to hit over at the net with her team-leading 79 blocks. Clayton also led the team in kills with 331 and was the Sissies 2012 team captain.

NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR

JESSICA SANDERS
Northwest, senior

The senior picked up Newcomer of the Year honors in a very tough District 4-5A. Sanders made a huge impact for the Lady Texans with 184 kills, 78 digs, and 32 blocks.

FIRST TEAM

CAROLINE LOWERY
Decatur, sophomore

The Offensive Player of the Year in 9-3A put down 330 kills, recorded 91 blocks and had 307 digs for the Lady Eagles, who made the regional finals of the playoffs.

MAKAYLA MAYFIELD
Decatur, sophomore

The 9-3A Defensive Player of the Year led the Lady Eagles with 349 digs. Mayfield also led Decatur with 60 aces and was second on the team with 351 kills, including a season-high 17 in the regional final against Argyle.

DARCI BILLMIRE
Decatur, junior

The solid all-around player earned a 9-3A first-team spot. Billmire was second on the team in blocks with 169 and recorded 159 kills.

KATIE ISHAM
Decatur, junior

The first-team selection in District 9-3A was very tough at the net. Isham easily led the Lady Eagles in blocks with 215 and also put down 122 kills.

SABRINA GARZA
Bridgeport, senior

The versatile senior was a 9-3A first-team selection. Garza finished the season with 189 kills, 44 digs and 35 blocks.

ARALIZA GALINDO
Chico, senior

The first-team all-district selection led the Lady Dragons with 78 kills and 264 sets.

JETT PREATHER
Paradise, sophomore

The 9-2A first-team selection emerged on the scene in 2012 with 271 kills and 69 digs. Preather helped the Lady Panthers reach the first round of the playoffs.

MAKALA NEIGHBORS
Paradise, junior

The District 9-2A Libero of the Year had a tremendous defensive year with 432 digs in helping lead Paradise to the playoffs.

SECOND TEAM

SERENA ESTRADA
Decatur, junior

The second team 9-3A selection was a defensive specialists for the Lady Eagles recording 250 digs. Estrada was also consistent from the service line with 31 aces.

PARKER TATE
Boyd, senior

Tate led the Lady Jackets with 277 digs and 145 kills. She also recorded 24 aces and 20 blocks.

MARLEY MCCUNE
Boyd, junior

The solid setter led the Lady Jackets in assists with 184. She also recorded 115 digs.

COREY TATE
Chico, junior

The second team all-district selection put down 68 kills and was third on the team with 173 digs.

BREANN HALL
Chico, junior

A second-team all-district selection, Hall led the Lady Dragons with 155 attacks and 188 digs.

KAYLIN GOSS
Northwest, senior

Even though she split time with another setter, Goss still recorded 475 assists and 446 digs while garnering 4-5A honorable mention honors. She recently signed a letter of intent with UT Tyler.

BAILEY SIDES
Paradise, junior

The first-team 9-2A selection put down 128 kills and 14 blocks as an outside hitter for the Lady Panthers.

REAGAN TAYLOR
Paradise, sophomore

As a sophomore, Taylor emerged on the scene for the Lady Panthers with 130 kills and 41 blocks, picking up 9-2A second team honors.
