I want to write a note of thanks to Danny White, Commissioner Precinct 1.
I participated in the Try the Tri triathlon on June 16. While training for the event, I discovered that a section of Old Reunion Road over a small bridge was in very bad shape with lots of potholes. The bike course went over this bridge, and it was dangerous to the riders.
I sent him an email about the road, and he called back within just a few minutes. He told me he would get the road repaired before the race. I was extremely happy when he called me back a few days before the race and told me the road was fixed. During the race, the road was smooth and safe!
I know he probably has lots of things to do, but repairing this stretch of road was a benefit to the 100 people who participated in the race. Thanks for helping to ensure our safety.

Danny White Also promised to fix my road that has bumps and pot holes on it for almost 4 years now. At last date it was to be June 1st 2012. It’s now July 8th and still NOTHING. Thanking Danny White would be the last thing I would do Mr. Pace. What perplexes me is why he would jump through hoops to respond to a request from a Tarrant County Resident, when he wouldn’t to his own taxpayers.
