I believe the students using scripture on their signs are not asking for a win so much as asking God to help them do their best. All Christians pray to the Almighty God when they want to communicate with Him. He is omnipresent, everywhere at once. They are not asking that He be on their side against someone else or that He bless them and not another team. They are simply seeking His strength and guidance.

In this day when the devil is so at work, please please do not discourage young people from seeking the Lord God.
