I would like to say a huge “thank you” to the workforce behind our high school reunion last Saturday evening, Oct. 20. We had a wonderful time reminiscing, catching up and getting to know one another again 40 years after high school graduation.
Jimmy Brummell, Shrea Chapman, Cyndee Bradford and Shirley Donley did a wonderful job getting the Decatur Eagles Class of 1972 together again. Many thanks also go to Nathan Horner for opening his home and outdoor area for an exceptional gathering place and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the evening.
I know this took a lot of time and work by everyone mentioned above, and I want them to know all their hard work is greatly appreciated. I had a wonderful time and would like to say thank you.
Thank you for your planning, all the work it took to make it happen, and most of all for caring enough to get us all together. And thanks to all for participating. It was great fun! It was great to see all of you again.
