The road and bridge to nowhere was closed for 14 years and didn’t inconvenience anyone – no, not even David Carlton.
In the coming weeks, it will become completely obvious who wanted this road opened. What we won’t know is what “they” paid to get it opened.
The county taxpayers will spend thousands to get this road opened, but that’s OK. It seems the county has money to spend on anything that comes along, and if they run short, appraisals will get them some more.
