MOVIE NIGHT – Thursday Night Flicks returns to the Decatur Square Thursday, Aug. 16. The movie “Friday Night Lights” will begin at sundown. A pep rally featuring the Decatur High School varsity football team and a highlight video from last season will precede the movie.

COLLEGE REGISTRATION – Registration for fall classes at Weatherford College Wise County continues through Thursday, Aug. 16, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. MEXICAN RODEO BENEFIT – A Mexican rodeo, bull-riding and dance event benefiting Saul Arevalo, 28, of New Fairview is 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Aug. 18, at Lienzo El Coahuila, 1238 County Road 4280 in Flatwood. Entrance is $20. Arevalo was paralyzed in a fiery wreck in May.
