CITY COUNCIL TO HEAR HIGHWAY PLANS – The Decatur City Council will hear a presentation from TxDOT’s area engineer when they meet at 6 p.m. Monday at City Hall. Bill Nelson of the Texas Department of Transportation will request the council’s concurrence on three lane revisions: on Farm Road 51 south of U.S. 287, on northbound 287′s exit at FM 51, and on U.S. Business 380 at 287. The rest of the agenda looks fairly routine.

NORTHWEST SCHOOL BOARD – The Northwest School Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday in the Administration Building. Agenda items include a public hearing on the First Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST), approving the District Improvement Plan and discussing campus improvement goals/objectives and changes to the Board of Trusteesstandards of professional practice for the board of trustees.

RHOME TO DISCUSS FIRE DEPARTMENT – Rhome City Council will hold a workshop 6:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall to discuss the possibility of creating a paid first responder position for the fire department to increase daytime response times and to discuss the city’s personnel manual. City Hall is located at 105 1st Street.

WATERLINE TALK – The Paradise City Council will meet with representatives of an engineering company to discuss water line extensions in a special meeting 6:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall.
