MAIN STREET EASTER – The Decatur Main Street Easter Event is 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, on the southeast corner of the Square. There will be egg hunts, jump houses, a barrel train, face painting and photos with the Easter bunny. Egg hunt schedule is as follows: 1 p.m. for 0 to 23 months, 2 p.m. for 2 to 3 years and 3 p.m. for 4 and 5 years.

NEWARK COMMUNITY EASTER EGG HUNT – The city of Newark will hold its second annual Easter Egg Hunt 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 31, at the Newark Town Square, Library Park located at 209 Hudson Street. The event will include games, crafts, pictures with the Easter Bunny and a special boxing demonstration for kids sponsored by Leatherneck Gym. The Easter Egg Hunt will be separated into three age groups and is free to all children of Newark age 12 and under.

LIVING LAST SUPPER – The Bay, a non-denominational church at Runaway Bay, will be putting on its version of a “Living Last Supper,” at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 1, at the church. The performance, directed by award-winning independent filmmaker Rachel Shepherd, features musical selections performed around a script based on Leonardo da Vinci’s painting of Jesus’ Last Supper with his apostles. EGGSTRAVAGANZA – Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual Easter Eggstravaganza 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 1, at the Community Center and Lawdwin Ballfields. The event will include an Easter basket decorating contest, inflatables, face painting, games and a balloon artist. The Easter egg hunt will be separated into three age groups and start at 3. EASTER PRAISE – Morris Memorial United Methodist Church Choir of Chico presents “Easter Praise, Music from the Gaither Collection” at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 1. Food and fellowship will follow the program.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE EGG HUNT – The Wise County Sheriff’s Office annual Easter egg hunt is 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, at the Decatur Civic Center. The event is for kids 5 and younger. Sheriff David Walker will cook hot dogs, and drinks, snacks and chips will be provided. Bring a camera to take pictures with the Easter bunny.

LIBRARY EGG HUNT – The Decatur Public Library will hold two children’s Easter Egg hunts, Wednesday, April 4, and Thursday, April 5, both at 10:30 a.m. The event will also feature stories and activities. Sign-up is required. Call (940) 627-5512 or stop by the library.

SENIOR CARE EASTER – Senior Care in Decatur will host Easter activities 5:30 Friday, April 6, for the community. There will be a bounce house, egg hunt and pictures with the Easter bunny. Bring your own camera.

AURORA BAPTIST EGG HUNT – Aurora Baptist Church will have an Easter egg hunt at 7 p.m. Friday, April 6.

OAK GROVE EGG HUNT – The annual Oak Grove Community Easter Egg Hunt is 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 1295 Greenwood Road near Decatur. The Easter Bunny will be there for pictures and prizes.

BOYD EGG HUNT – The First United Methodist Church in Boyd (540 S. Allen St.) is hosting an Easter egg hunt 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7.

FUMC DECATUR EGG HUNT – First United Methodist Church of Decatur will have a children’s Easter egg hunt at 9:40 a.m. Sunday, April 8.

VICTORY FAMILY PRIZE HUNT – Victory Family Church in Decatur will have a prize hunt for all ages at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 8.

RESORT EGG HUNT – M.D. Resort in Aurora will hold a “Family Fun Day” featuring an Easter egg hunt and picnic noon to 4 on Easter Sunday, April 8. Children 9 and under receive free admission. For information, go to
