CareFlite flew a man to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas Friday after suffering injuries from electrical shock at Heil Trailer International, Co. in Rhome.

Rhome officer Jeff Kelley said the man has not been identified. Heil employees did not wish to comment.

Kelley said he was the first person on the scene shortly after 1 p.m. According to the Heil employees that spoke with him, the man was working in a tank trailer when the incident occurred.

“He had been inside welding and something went wrong,” Kelley said.

He added that the incident is under investigation.

Medics transported the man to the Dollar General at 550 S. Main St. to meet CareFlite.
