Contest draws local talent

Three Paradise Has Talent entries netted $300 in prizes. The talent show was one of the many attractions in the Paradise Main Street Festival Sept. 29.

First place and $150 went to Jan Cosgrove, who sang “Sweet Dreams of You.”

The duet of Blake Bryant and Katy Skogberg won second place and $100 for their rendition of “Barton Hollow.”

The Paradise First Baptist Church Men’s Quintet, performing “He Touched Me,” earned $50 cash for their third place selection.
