A Paradise woman was flown to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth following an alleged hit-and-run accident involving a motorcycle and pickup around 11 Wednesday night.
Lisa Clark Miller, 47, was northbound on Farm Road 920 about two miles south of Bridgeport when she laid down her bike. Miller and her husband, who was riding a motorcycle in front of her, contend it was a result of being hit by a pickup that continued down the roadway.
“The accident is under investigation,” Texas Department of Public Safety Cpl. Jeff Johnson said. “Right now, there is no evidence that a vehicle struck her, but there’s also no evidence that it didn’t strike her.”
According to Johnson, Miller’s injuries were not life-threatening.
“She suffered a severe laceration on the back side of her knee, cut all the way down her leg,” he said.
