Brittanie Wellborn and Jeffery Smith of Justin announce the birth of a son, Zane Cheshire Phillips-Smith, on Oct. 23, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 9 pounds, 7 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Tammy and John Phillips of Justin, John and Terry Smith of Missouri. Great-grandparents are Jerry and Barbara Perry and Paula Walker.

Great-great-grandparent is the Rev. Paul Henderson.
