Michael Golden and Kristen Horstdaniel of Decatur announce the birth of a son, Timothy James Golden, on Oct. 22, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 5 pounds, 6 ounces and was 17 3/4 inches long.

He has one sister: Lily Golden, 23 months.

Grandparents are Chris and Jamie Horstdaniel and Jerry and Helen Golden.

Great-grandmother is Linda Markum.
