Chris and Christi Easter of Decatur announce the birth of a daughter, Terra Leigh, on Aug. 6, 2012, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. She weighed 5 pounds, 14 ounces and was 17 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Ron and Kaye Easter of Roanoke, Terry and Debbie Eakman of Decatur and Darrell and Cindy Moyers of Rainbow.

Great-grandparents are Inita McGuire and Olan and Charlene Eakman, all of Decatur and Annabelle Switzer of Comanche, Okla.

Great-great-grandmother is Vivian North of Decatur.
