Courtney West of Grapevine announces the birth of a son, Talon Christopher Day, on Dec. 12, 2012, at North Texas Community Hospital in Bridgeport. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21 inches long.

He has a brother, Santiago Rodriguez, 4, and two sisters: Eva Rodriguez, 7, and Sofia Rodriguez, 6.

Grandparents are Yvonne and Ross Dillard of Rio Vista and Elizabeth Day of Cleburne.

Great-grandmothers are Sarah Hughes and Mary Hadley, both of Cleburne.
