Shanell Faultner and Ben Oney of Bowie announce the birth of a daughter, Starr Nicole Leeann Oney, on July 2, 2012, at North Texas Community Hospital in Bridgeport. She weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Shane and Helen Oney, Michele Smith and Joseph Faultner, all of Bowie.

Great-grandparents are Mary Jones and R.L. Oney.
