Ciria Soto and Sergio Ortega of Decatur announce the birth of a son, Sergio Rodrigo Ortega, on Oct. 5, 2012, at North Texas Community Hospital in Bridgeport. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long.

He has one sister: Mairylin Ortega, 1.

Grandparents are San Juana Solis and Antonio Soto, and Maria Luisa Torres and Santos Ortega, all of Mexico.
