Chris and Kelly Laney of Chico announce the birth of a son, Porter Alan, on June 5, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long.

He has two sisters: Maddy, 16, and Paris, 3.

Grandparents are Travis and Glenda Laney of Decatur and Frank and Karen Williamson of Dublin.

Great-grandparents are Joree Laney of Weatherford and Ben and Betty Williamson of Irving.
