Cole and Candice (Scheller) McMeen of Rhome announce the birth of a son, Parker Layne, on July 4, 2012, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. He weighed 7 pounds and was 20 1/2 inches long.

He has a brother, Hunter, 3.

Grandparents are Terry and Charli Scheller of Paradise and Gregory and Donna Wyckoff of Azle.
