Cheyenne Laverty of Decatur announces the birth of a daughter, Paisley Dawn, on Aug. 30, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. She weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.

She has a sister, Zoe, 8.

Grandparents are Gordon and Barbie Laverty of Decatur.

Great-grandparents are Bill and Sue Crunk of Decatur and Aaron and Claudetta Laverty of Mobeetie.
