Bobby and Courtney Scantlin of Boyd announce the birth of a son, Nolan Kase, on Nov. 2, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18 inches long.

He has two brothers, Tyler, 9, and Mason, 4.

Grandparents are Mark Romine of Boyd and Cindy Smith of Mason.

Great-grandparents are Candy and Terry Spradlin, Pat Crouch and Oscar and Billy Romine.
