Steven Pina and Elsa Alatorre of Boyd announce the birth of a daughter, Lyric Nicole, on Nov. 20, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. She weighed 4 pounds, 10 ounces and was 16 1/2 inches long.

She has two sisters: Nea Hernandez, 4; and Tristan Pina, 4.

Grandparents are Sylvia and Pete Pina of Brownfield and Mary and Jose Rico of Aurora.

Great-grandparents are Elsa Moreno of Aurora, and Julia Pina and Elisa Deleon both of Brownfield.

Great-great-grandparents are Jose and Eva Rodriguez.
