Christopher and Micah Fernihough of Decatur announce the birth of a son, Kit Christian Fernihough, on Aug. 10, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

He has a brother, Kai Gage Fernihough, 3; and a sister, Scout MacKenzie Fernihough, 4.

Grandparents are Michael and Mollie Snell and Bill and Cyndi Fernihough, all of Decatur.

Great-grandparents are Vena Snell of Mansfield and Gene Barnes of Augusta, Ga.
