Daryl and Lacey Reed of Newark announce the birth of a daughter, Kenzie Layne, on July 4, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. She weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 18 3/4 inches long.

Grandparents are Sharon Batterton and Daryl and April Reed, all of Newark.

Great-grandparents are Bill and Delores Burch of Newark and Larry and Jo Reed.
