Michael and Kathrine Dugan of Rhome announce the birth of a daughter, Kenzi Renee Phifer, on Sept. 11, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 inches.

She has a brother, Blake, 6.

Grandparents are Carol and Loretta Allen and Marryann Dugan, all of Paradise, and David and Nanetta Shackelford of North Richland Hills.

Great-grandparents are Anita Chapman of North Richland Hills and Bobbie Sauaer of Mobile, Ala.
