Steven and Ashleigh Ward of Springtown announce the birth of a daughter, Kayleigh Nicole, on Dec. 5, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Orville and Patsy Ward of Springtown and John and Theresa Pitzer of North Port, Fla.

Great-grandparents are Jim and Connie Pitzer of Bradenton, Fla., and Betty Hammond of Springtown.

Great-great-grandmother is Clara Neighbors of Springtown.
