Brett Wheeler and Rosa Alvarez of Decatur announce the birth of a daughter, Jasmyn Victoria Wheeler, on Sept. 4, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long.

She has two sisters: Jenah, 15, and Jocelyn, 6.

Grandparents are Barry and Pat Wheeler of Nolanville and Agustin and Manuela Alvarez of Decatur.

Great-grandparents are Jean Wheeler of Van Alstyne and Jose Isabel and Lucina Luevano of Decatur.
