Johnny and Stephanie Rivas of Rhome announce the birth of a daughter, Hazel Marie, on July 24, 2012, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford in Bedford. She weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long.

She has a brother, Kody Davis, 10; and a sister, Elissa Rivas, 3.

Grandparents are Jeanne and Robert Ralls of Midland and Juan and Maria Rivas of Decatur.

Great-grandparents are Kitty and Clyde Douglas of Hurst and Esperanza and Filiberto Rodriguez of Decatur.
