Alex and Justine Lamkin of Springtown announce the birth of a son, Gannen Ray, on Sept. 17, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19 1/2 inches long.

He has one brother: Jacer Craig, 5, and one sister: Ava Lamkin, 1.

Grandparents are Tim and Linda Lumpkins and Ric and Sharon Lamkin.

Great-grandparents are Judy and Wayne Davidson, Betty and Bill Lamkin and Charles and Dolly Cunningham.
