Justin and Sara Pierce of Boyd announce the birth of a son, Easton Dean, on Sept. 3, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Darryl and Loretta Wilson of Paradise, Harold Pierce of Lake Worth and Cheryl Wilson of Chico.

Great-grandparents are James and Mary Wright and Edward and Connie Browning, all of Chico.
