Fernanda Parra and Jose Ortiz of Bridgeport announce the birth of a son, Damian Ortiz, on Oct. 21, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. He weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces and was 17 3/4 inches long.

Grandparents are Jose Ortiz, Jose Parra, Maria Ortiz and Catalina Parra.

Great-grandparents are Maria de Jesus Sanchez, Pedro Parra, Catalina Ortiz and Isidro Ortiz.
