Dr. Heath and Andrea Smith of Roanoke, Va., formerly of Paradise, announce the birth of a son, Colin Wayne, on April 11, 2012, at Carilion Hospital in Roanoke. He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Grandparents are Rick and Joyce Smith of Paradise, Steve and Tammi Ericson of Arlington, and Rick Fletcher of Dallas.

Great-grandparents are Lou Etta Armstrong of Paradise, E.L. and Wilma Smith of Allen, Pat Potts of Arlington, H.R. Harris of Conroe, R.C. and Jamie Fletcher of Orange and Jane Ericson of Weatherford.
