Jason and Catey Allen of Alvord announce the birth of a daughter, Claire Margaret, on Dec. 19, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. She weighed 5 pounds, 12 ounces and was 16 inches long.

She has two brothers: Conner, 8, and Chance, 2; and a sister, Catelynn, 6.

Grandparents are Tex Allen of Bowie, Ruby Allen of Falfurrias, and Gene and Joyce Broerman of Portland.

Great-grandparents are Harold Allen of Temple, Nelda Silbas of Falfurrias, Albino and Janie Sandoval of Leakey, and Jane Broerman and Bill and Helen Statesir and Jane Broerman, all of Portland.
