Thomas McClendon and Ashley Stults of Boyd announce the birth of a son, Blake Thomas McClendon, on Aug. 31, 2012, at North Texas Community Hospital in Bridgeport. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.

He has four brothers: Kaemon Stults, 14, Kyler Stults, 10, Kaleb Stults, 9, and Rowdy Hathcock, 16; and three sisters: Allyson Stults, 12, Taylor Miller, 2, and Katie McClendon, 26.

Grandparents are David and Bonnie Luper of Saginaw.
