Andrew and Taunya Chester of Watauga announce the birth of a daughter, Aeryan Dixie-Joan, on Oct. 14, 2012, at Wise Regional Health System in Decatur. She weighed 5 pounds, 1 ounce and was 17 3/4 inches long.

She has one brother: David Chester, 1.

Grandparents are John and Desiree Francis of Decatur, Belinda Allen of Watauga, Tracy Adams of Pocatello, Idaho, and Steve and Dena Chester of California.

Great-grandparents are Mearle and Joan Allen, Carl and Lila Adams, Patricia and Bryan Hauser, and Bill and Chris Festa.
