Several Wise County residents were named to the dean’s list at Texas State University in San Marcos for the spring 2012 semester.

They include Allison N. Mynarcik of Alvord; Mackenzie L. Barnett of Decatur; and Jessie L. Boyd and Kayla A. Edelman, both of Sunset.

To make the dean’s list, a student must earn a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying a class load of at least 12 hours.
