Locals graduate from UNT

Several Wise County residents graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton in the spring.

They include:

  • Chico – Chance Taylor Carlton (bachelor of science in mechanical and energy engineering);
  • Decatur – Matthew F. Amos (bachelor of arts in sociology), Ryan Alan Bennett (master of science in physics), Tabitha Nicole Boatman (bachelor of arts in psychology), Brandi Michele Brandon (bachelor of business administration in marketing), Kathryn Loraine Dey (master of science in accounting), Valorie Fair (master of arts in art history), Kyle Glenn Fincher (bachelor of science in engineering technology in mechanical engineering technology), Lauralie Adele Fisk (master of business administration in business administration), William L. Gilbert (bachelor of science in computer science), Jonathan Lee Jones (bachelor of science in kinesiology), Timothy Leslie Meyer (bachelor of applied arts and sciences in applied arts and sciences), Shawn David Nunez (bachelor of science in emergency administration and planning) and Jessica Torres (bachelor of science in kinesiology);
  • Newark – Bradley John-Michael Edwards (bachelor of science in hospitality management) and Kamilah Turner (bachelor of arts in psychology);
  • Paradise – Seth Allen Foster (bachelor of arts in history); and
  • Rhome – Amanda M. Culver (bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies), Lauren Nicole Goudie (bachelor of science in kinesiology), Shawn Daniel Irwin (bachelor of arts in general studies), Jessica Linn Leach (bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies), Stevie J. Misner (bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies), Milankumar Patel (bachelor of business administration in accounting) and Lauren A.
