Makinzy Durham Hall

Makinzy Durham Hall, 5, of Chico is a state finalist in the National American Miss Texas Pageant Thursday, July 5, through Saturday, July 7, at the Hotel Intercontinental in Dallas.

The pageant is for girls ages 4 through 6.

The winner will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland in California.

Hall has participated in photogenic and talent contests. She enjoys her dogs, tumbling, watching television with her brothers, spending time with her daddy, going to school and swimming.
