Galvan earns master’s from Texas State

Danny Galvan of Grand Prairie graduated Aug. 10 from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Master of Arts degree in professional counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family counseling.

He is a counseling intern at New Horizons in Arlington and is also a certified personal trainer and works at Velocity Sports in Coppell as a fitness instructor.

Galvan graduated from Bishop Dunne High School in Dallas in 2002 and Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth in 2006.

He is the son of Vilma Galvan of Grand Prairie and Jesus Galvan of Decatur and the grandson of Oscar and Rosa Flores and Nina Galvan, all of Decatur.
