Ferguson graduates from Sam Houston State

Beth Ferguson graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville May 11 with a bachelor of science degree in biology with a minor in statistics-stat theory. She earned highest honors and honors college distinctions, having completed at least 24 hours of honors-level classes and a senior thesis.

Ferguson will be attending Oklahoma State University in Stillwater to work toward a master’s degree in entomology and plant pathology. She will be employed as a teaching assistant for the College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences.

She is the daughter of Tom and Ann Ferguson and a 2008 graduate of Chico High School.
