Northwest middle and high school students competed for a place in the Region 2 choir and orchestra ensembles Oct. 20.

In the orchestra division, 28 high school students and 13 middle school students were selected. In the choral division, 11 high school students and 49 middle school students were picked for the honor choirs.

Many NISD students earned top chairs in these prestigious ensembles.
