William Allen ‘Bill’ Wilde

Memorial service for William Allen “Bill” Wilde, 75, of Decatur is 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Wise County Veterans Memorial Park, 406 N. Trinity St., in Decatur. Fred Utz and Patti Mahaffey will officiate.

Wilde died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in Decatur.

Born Sept. 12, 1936, in Beeville to Bernard J. and Mary (Fisher) Wilde, he married Kerry McDaniel May 23, 1968, in Ardmore, Okla. He retired from Petroleum Helicopter Inc. as a helicopter pilot. Wilde served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Methodist church.

He was preceded in death by son Tony Wilde.

Wilde is survived by his wife of 44 years; daughters Ronda Boyd of Decatur and Krissa Lopez and husband, John, of Dickinson; sons Rick Boyd and wife, Faith, of New York and Camdon Wilde and wife, Melissa, of Alamogordo, N.M.; grandchildren Brad, Cody, Caitlyn, Wesley, Bradley, Brandy, Kessa, Keelan and Noah; six great-grandchildren; and sister Holly Laird.
