Virginia Kay Bezy, 63, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, in Decatur.

Graveside service was Dec. 11 at Oaklawn Cemetery with Gerre Joiner officiating. Burial was under the direction of Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Virginia was born Nov. 8, 1949, in Dallas to Raymond and Louise Bridges (Swaney) Martin. She married James Michael Bezy Sept. 2, 1983, in Denton. She was a veteran and a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years; son Raymond Denton of Rosewood; daughter Jami Bezy of Slidell; sister Neta Redmon of Ponder; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard Martin.
