Funeral for Susan Kay Huddleston, 70, of Azle was July 3 at The Church at Azle with Randy Rosamond officiating.
Huddleston died Saturday, June 30, 2012, in Azle.
Born June 19, 1942, in Three Oaks, Mich., to Basil and Iris (Strauss) Shepherd, she was a retired electric aircraft assembler. She married Norman Huddleston March 2, 1963, in Lydick, Ind. Huddleston was a member of The Church at Azle, Red Hatters and Honor of the Order of the Yellow Dogs.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years; sons Doyle Huddleston and wife, Amye, of Azle and Norman Huddleston and wife, Kristine, of Peaster; daughter Robin Cathey and husband, Rodger, of Boyd; grandchildren Amanda, Ashley, Rodger, Jamie, Samantha, Deborah, Paige, Judge and Sydney; great-grandchildren Hunter, Gavin, Makayla, Lawson and Blaze; her parents of Azle; brother Bucky and wife, Jeanette, of South Bend, Ind.; sisters Judy Bently of South Carolina, Sharon Walbert and husband, Raymond, of Granger, Ind., Debborah Mablem of Kendallville, Ind., and Cheryl Tabler and husband, Tim, of Greensboro, Ga.; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers were Judge Huddleston, Rodger G. Cathey, Rodger C. Cathey, Jason Johnson, Michael Hall and Kevin Chandler.
Honorary pallbearers were Doyle Huddleston and Norman Huddleston.
