Ruth Hollingsworth

Graveside service for Ruth Hollingsworth, 90, of Reno, Nev., formerly of Decatur, was July 9 at Chapel Hill Gardens in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.

Hollingsworth died Monday, July 2, 2012, in Reno.

Born Dec. 13, 1921, in Maywood, Ill., to William and Ana Peckat, she worked at the Wise County Heritage Museum and moved to Reno three years ago to be closer to her daughter.

Hollingsworth was preceded in death by son Craig Mikesell in December 2002.

She is survived by daughters Sharron McMikel of Reno; sister Lorraine Clauss of Indiana; and grandchildren Dzu Han “Mike” Mikesell of Euless and Jesse Hatfield of Reno.
