Robert Lee ‘Bob’ Cloud

Robert Lee “Bob” Cloud Sr. died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, in Fort Worth.

Funeral services were Sept. 25 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with Brother Doug Ackley officiating. Burial was in Aurora Cemetery.

Pallbearers included Shane Cloud, Jesse Cloud, Tyler Cloud, Byron Cloud, Jeff Brown and Rick Taliaferro. Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Morales and Chris Taliaferro.

Bob was born June 26, 1931, to Early Clay and Ada Lucille (Kizer) Cloud in South Plains. He married Barbara Linsenbigler in Hurst. He was an avid craftsman of all trades and enjoyed traveling across the nation collecting rocks to make jewelry. He spent a lot of his time growing his own vegetables in his garden and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Cloud of Newark; sons Robert Lee “Corky” Cloud Jr. and wife, Donna, of Godley, Ronald Lynn Cloud and wife, Pamela, of North Richland Hills, Steven Brian Cloud and wife, Cindy, of Burleson, and Kenneth Ray Cloud and wife, Arlene, of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother Donald Cloud and wife, Fern; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mattie “Belle” Pat Cloud, his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
