Pedro Trevino

Pedro Trevino, 82, a retired glass blower, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.

Mass was Dec. 21 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Burial was under the direction of Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur. Pallbearers were Rene Guia, Eric Keefer, Evan Keefer, Gabriel Guia, Rachael Guia, Samuel Powers and Matthew Powers.

Pedro was born May 13, 1930, in Salinas Victoria, Monterrey, Mexico to Juan and Leonor Trevino. He married Brigida Lozano Dec. 28, 1956, in Monterrey.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brigida Trevino of Decatur; daughters Lupe Guia and husband, Antonio, of Decatur, Leticia Keefer and husband, Alvin, of Plano, and Lenore Trevino and Maria Powers and husband, Daniel, all of Carrollton; grandchildren Ren , Gabriel and Rachael Guia, Eric and Evan Keefer, Samuel and Matthew Powers; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Anastacio Trevino; sisters Juanita Vega and Lourdes Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Porfirio Trevino.
